TeamViewer

TeamViewer

Trelica connects with TeamViewer using the OAuth2 protocol.

This is a straightforward and secure way to connect two applications.

It involves logging in to TeamViewer and confirming that you are happy to give Trelica permission to access certain data or functionality.

Where possible we recommend using a service account to connect, since the access is tied to the user you log in to TeamViewer with. The integration will stop working if this user’s account in TeamViewer is deactivated. The account should be assigned Administrator permissions.

  1. Go to Admin > Integrations and find TeamViewer.
  2. Click on the icon to see the details of the integration.
  3. Click Connect.

You may be prompted for additional values, or be able to choose the features you want to enable. The permissions requested by Trelica may vary depending on the features selected. You can review these in the Required permissions section.

  4. Click Connect again if required and you will be redirected to the login screen for TeamViewer.
  5. Log in when requested, and click to grant permissions to Trelica if asked.

If you logged in successfully you will be taken back to Trelica and the integration will start running.

Tensor

If you are a TeamViewer Tensor customer, you can use the TeamViewer SCIM API.

To set up the SCIM API, go to the TeamViewer Management Console, go to Edit profile > Apps > Create script token

Give a name to your token, and select the following permissions:

  • User management
    • view users
    • edit users
    • create users
  • Group Management
    • read user groups
    • edit user groups

Once the token has been created, copy it into the 'SCIM bearer token' field in the integration setup
