When you try to connect Cloudflare to Trelica you will be asked for a Cloudflare API token. This article shows you how to create a Cloudflare API token with the correct permissions.
Login to Cloudflare, select your Account (if prompted) and click the Profile icon at the top right of the page. Then choose My Profile:
Click on the API Tokens tab and then the Create Token button:
Scroll down the Create API Token page until you find the Custom token section and then click Get started. This allows you to create a token with the minimal set of permissions required by Trelica which is more secure:
Once you have given your token a name (we suggest "Trelica"), you need to choose the permissions you want to grant.
The Trelica token requires Read access to your Account Settings. Choose these options in the dropdowns in the Permissions section and then click Continue to summary:
Finally you will be shown confirmation of the token. If the settings look correct, click Create Token:
Now Copy the token to your clipboard:
In Trelica, to connect to Cloudflare paste in the API token you just generated.
If you don't use the product "Cloudflare Access" make sure that under credentials that the box "Cloudflare Access" is unticked. Otherwise the integration will show as "Enabled with issues" showing a warning "Unable to fetch account apps, ensure permission has been configured for your API token."
