2026 release notes

Date: 2026-06-25, Release #724

New Features & Enhancements

  • Workflows – 7-Day Expiry Option: A "7 days" option has been added to the workflow inactivity reset dropdown. This joins the existing options (Immediately, 30, 60, 90, and 180 days, and 1 year) and applies across License, App, Asset, Person, and Task filter triggers.
  • OpenAI Platform – Admin Key Requirement Clarified: The OpenAI Platform integration setup description has been updated to clarify that an Admin key is required, not just any API key. This should reduce failed connection attempts when setting up AI consumption tracking.
  • 1Password Integration – Updated SCIM Terminology: References to "SCIM Bridge" in the 1Password integration have been updated to "SCIM" to align with 1Password's current hosted provisioning model. Field labels and helper text now reflect this change, with updated links to the relevant support documentation.
  • Integrations – Logo Initials Fallback: Integration and provider tiles now display a generated initials badge when no logo is available. This provides a consistent visual experience for integrations that don't have an uploaded logo.

Bug Fixes

  • Devices: Fixed an issue where a device sourced from multiple integrations could be incorrectly editable. Attempting to save a duplicate device name now returns a clear error message rather than a generic failure.
  • Public API – App User Filters: Fixed an issue where filtering app users by email or name via the public API, GET /api/apps/v1/{appId}/users, silently returned empty results. These filters now return the correct matching data.
  • Public API – OpenAPI Documentation: Tightened the OpenAPI specification definitions across Apps, Core, and Workflow responses. This includes a corrected route parameter for the Applications PATCH endpoint ({id}{appId}) and improved required/nullability annotations for several response fields, bringing the documentation in line with actual API behavior.
  • Google Workspace – Generate User Verification Codes: Fixed an intermittent failure in the "Generate User Verification Codes" workflow step. The step could fail when Google's API experienced a short propagation delay after generating codes. Automatic retry logic has been added to handle this transparently, so the step should now succeed without requiring manual workflow intervention.
  • Google Workspace – 401 Error Messaging: Improved the error messages shown when a Google Workspace workflow action fails due to insufficient permissions on the connected account. The error now clearly explains that a Super Admin role is required when managing other admin users, and links to the relevant setup documentation.
  • 1Password Integration – Non-ASCII Characters in Bearer Token: Fixed a sync failure that occurred when the 1Password SCIM bearer token contained non-ASCII characters, typically caused by copying the token from a rich-text editor. The token is now automatically sanitized before use.
  • Microsoft Entra ID – Roles Missing for Mixed-Case UPN: Fixed an issue where users with directly assigned Microsoft Entra directory roles did not have those roles reflected in SaaS Manager. This occurred when Microsoft Graph returned the User Principal Name (UPN) in mixed case, for example  User@domain.com, causing the role lookup to fail silently.
  • Cursor – Missing User Mappings on First Sync: Fixed an issue where the Cursor AI usage integration reported mapping errors for user emails that were already present in the account. This was preventing the integration from being successfully enabled.
  • 1Password – User Deletion Sync: Fixed an issue where SaaS Manager users were not automatically removed when their corresponding 1Password accounts were deleted (rather than purged). People data will now stay in sync when 1Password accounts are removed directly.

New Features & Enhancements

  • Public API Documentation: The SaaS Manager public API documentation is now available at /api/docs. The interactive reference covers Applications, Devices, Contracts, People, Teams, Workflows, SCIM, OAuth, and Audit Log endpoints – complete with filterable fields, enum values, and real response examples.
  • Claude AI & Claude Console Providers: The Claude integration has been updated with two distinct providers, Claude AI and Claude Console, for more precise tracking and management. The original Claude provider has been deprecated.
  • Lark Integration Details: The Lark integration now displays a description and a direct link to its help article in the provider details panel, making it easier to get started and find documentation.

Bug Fixes

  • Assessment Templates: Fixed the "OK" button on the Assessment template preview page, which was non-functional.
  • Integration Setup: Fixed an issue where connecting an integration using the Getting Started flow on the home screen could submit an empty request body, preventing the integration from being created successfully.
  • BambooHR: Updated BambooHR to use the new v2 dataset API, replacing the deprecated Custom Report API. This makes sure there’s reliable people data syncing going forward.
  • 3CX: Fixed a 500 error that occurred when attempting to deprovision users through the 3CX integration.
  • Tableau: Fixed an issue where the Authentication configuration option was unavailable when setting up user provisioning to Tableau.
  • Entra ID: Updated the permissions guidance text to clarify that delegated permissions aren’t supported when using Client Credentials authentication.
  • OpenAI Platform: Fixed an issue where tenant groups were incorrectly included when syncing data from the OpenAI Platform integration.
  • OpenAI Platform: Corrected the feature tab label from "Usage" to "Consumption" in the OpenAI Platform integration view.
  • EPM Account Linking: Resolved a 504 gateway timeout error that could prevent admins from successfully linking a SaaS Manager account to an EPM account.
  • Reports: Improved load performance for the Person and API key report pages. Data is now paginated at the database level, resulting in significantly faster load times for large datasets.

New Features & Enhancements

  • API Key Management: Admins can now edit and delete API keys directly from the API key table. All key changes are captured in the audit log for full traceability.
  • Expandable AI Usage Chart: The AI usage chart section can now be expanded to fill the screen, making it easier to analyze spend and consumption data in detail.
  • OpenAI Platform - AI Consumption Tracking: SaaS Manager now retrieves and tracks AI consumption data from the OpenAI Platform integration, adding OpenAI API usage and spend to your AI visibility.
  • Okta - Stage New Users on Create: A new option in the Okta integration allows newly created users to be staged rather than immediately activated, giving admins more control over the provisioning flow.
  • Public API Documentation: The SaaS Manager public API documentation is now available at /api/docs, providing a unified, browsable reference for all available public API services.

Bug Fixes

  • Integrations: Fixed an error that prevented connecting an integration after its global app had been changed.
  • Jira: Fixed an issue where person type fields could not be set when using the Create Issue workflow action.
  • Okta: Corrected the informational text displayed on the Set Account Attribute step to be more accurate.
  • Custom Actions: Fixed an issue where the patch custom action did not correctly support the name attribute.
  • App API: Fixed an issue where a newly created application did not display its Owner when first assigned via the SM API.
  • App API: Fixed an issue where App Owner assignment changes made via the SM API were not recorded in the audit log.
  • User Import: Fixed a 404 error that occurred when selecting "Back to accounts" while viewing import history.
  • Surveys: Fixed an issue where survey response rates incorrectly displayed {NUMBER()} instead of a calculated percentage.
  • App Consumption: Fixed an error that prevented App Owners from loading the App Consumption tab.
  • AI Consumption Chart: Fixed an issue where the AI consumption budget chart did not start at the beginning of the budget period when no historical data was present.
  • App Management: Fixed spurious sync conflicts that could occur when remapping an app followed by renaming a vendor.
  • Account Management: Fixed an error in the customer deletion process that was causing deletion jobs to fail.
  • Email: Fixed an issue where offboarded users with SaaS Manager access couldn't view the email invitation form.

  • App management: Fixed an issue where vendor-to-vendor app remapping could fail when aliases were not set.
  • Contracts: Manual edits to contract start or end dates no longer cause auto-updated line items to be silently deleted.
  • Contracts: AI processing now correctly marks removed integration-provided line items as deleted, preventing them from being incorrectly restored on subsequent imports.
  • Contracts: Currency conversion now applies automatically when a contract is imported, without requiring a manual "Process with AI" action.
  • Devices: Fixed an issue where devices could not be imported due to being incorrectly flagged as duplicates when no actual duplicates were found.
  • Locations: The Locations settings card no longer displays hidden locations as examples.
  • Reports: Report end dates are now treated as inclusive, ensuring consistent date-range filtering across the platform.
  • Workflows: Fixed an issue where Jira user picker fields did not populate correctly with values from workflow configurations.
