Troubleshooting

If you're having problems with API calls we recommend using a tool like Postman to test authentication and making calls.

If you need to raise a support ticket then please try to distil the issue down to a specific API call and include an example of the call and the response you are receiving, ideally using curl.

e.g.

I am making this call:

curl -X GET -i 'https://app.trelica.com/api/apps/v1?filter=name%20eq%20%22Asana' \
   -H 'Authorization: Bearer ******'

And receiving this response:

HTTP/2 400
content-type: application/problem+json; charset=utf-8
content-length: 314
date: Tue, 12 Aug 2025 19:52:39 GMT

{"errors":{"query":["The query field is required."],
"filter":["Unterminated string literal at position 9"]},
"type":"https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc9110#section-15.5.1",
"title":"One or more validation errors occurred.",
"status":400,
"extensions":{"traceId":"00-3d9da18ba64feaae67a681b508ad316c-ff076b493571d1a0-01"}}

This gives our support team clear insight into what's going on and helps us replicate the issue you are having.

Always make sure you remove or obfuscate any Authentication headers and ideally anonymize any personal data before you send it via email.
