Contracts: AI & Exports

Enhancements to contract management give you greater control and transparency, from AI-driven data extraction to exporting your records with ease.

  • Process integrated contracts using AI: You can now control the depth of AI extraction for integrated contracts through Settings > Contracts. This enhancement allows you to supplement or overwrite integration data with AI-extracted details according to your specific needs.
  • Export contracts with attachments: You can now export contracts and their associated documents to a zip file. Simply select one or more contracts, click the "..." menu in the bulk action toolbar, and choose "Export with attachments". Each contract's documents will be organized in individual folders, with an Excel/CSV index file included in the root of the zip for easy reference.

Improvements

  • Access review notifications: Streamline your access review process with automated notifications. Reviewers now receive timely alerts when reviews become active and when they're due, while admins get notified upon completion. Available via email and Slack with intelligent batching for users assigned to multiple reviews. Manage all notification preferences in Settings > Notifications.
  • Improved OBO access request UX: We've overhauled the "request on behalf of" experience, making it more intuitive and informative. Contract AI enhancements

We’ve enhanced our AI capabilities to give you more control and flexibility when extracting data from contracts.

Security

We’ve introduced new controls to strengthen account security.

  • User Restrictions: To enhance security, you will no longer be able to modify, create, or invite users with email addresses from domains that you do not own. This ensures that only authorized domains are managed within Trelica.
  • Support access: Allow support to access your organization has been implemented to enhance customer control over data access. You can now manage support team access directly within your account settings.

April 2025

Access reviews

Trelica now offers a comprehensive Access reviews feature, giving admin users and app owners a centralized, streamlined way to manage and verify user access.

  • Launch and monitor reviews: From the new Access page, you can create and launch reviews, track their progress in real time via a Kanban view, and view all reviews at a glance—sorted by date and status.
  • Customize before launch: Reviews begin with an automatic snapshot of app access and support a Draft state, allowing you to customize settings before launch.
  • Manage reviews: Admins can take action on individual or multiple users, record notes, and mark reviews as accepted or pending. You can also end reviews early, preventing future recurrence and locking in the results.

Access management

We’ve made it easier to manage and customize user access with new controls and improved visibility across teams and apps.

  • Access policies by Team: You can now view existing access policies grouped by app on the Teams page, making it easier to manage permissions. Selectable rows allow you to quickly open the Access policy drawer for detailed insights.
  • Removing access levels: App owners can now easily remove existing access levels for users within their managed apps. This functionality allows for better control over user permissions while maintaining the integrity of access management.
  • Concurrent access levels: You can now request a new access level without losing your existing one, allowing you to have multiple access levels simultaneously. This feature is applied per app and must be enabled by 1Password.

Improvements

  • Access requests: Trelica now allows you to raise access requests for people with multiple user records. You will need to select a specific user before providing an access level and reason.
  • App catalog: Users will now see an 'in progress' icon on the app card in the catalog when there is a 'Requested' access request for themselves.
  • Devices: Store unlock codes securely in Trelica workflow fields to enhance automation and streamline device management. This new capability allows you to reuse sensitive information in email actions and API requests.

  • Automated deprovisioning: Trelica ensures clear visibility of the temporary status and remaining time in the App Hub while automating the deprovisioning process when access expires.
  • Existing app users: Temporary access requests for existing app users allow you to change access levels for a defined duration or a specified end date, facilitating project work without unnecessary license costs.
  • Slack integration: Raise temporary access requests through Slack. Trelica will automatically adjust the request options based on your access policy settings.

Contracts & renewals

We’ve enhanced contract management with improved automation, better visibility into renewals, and a more intuitive editing experience.

Improvements

  • UI updates: Trelica UI was updated and refreshed as part of our ongoing 1Password integration.
  • Cost center reporting: You can now view spend reports broken down by cost center, allowing for more granular insights without needing Trelica admin access. Simply select "Cost center" in the existing spend report to access this feature.

  • Threshold alerts: You can now set a threshold for your licenses, ensuring you receive timely alerts when your licenses are running low. Trelica will automatically notify you when the remaining licenses drop below the set threshold.
  • Licenses history: The license UI now provides a 'History' feature, allowing you to view and manage historical data for license costs and user counts. This enhancement enables Trelica to automatically recalculate values when linked contracts change, ensuring accurate and insightful savings calculations.

Improvements

  • Access request history: Once an access request has been processed, a history icon appears next to the 'Provisioning' step, providing more granular information about how the request was processed.
  • Currency conversion: You can now convert values on the spend report with a new currency picker. This feature allows you to select your desired currency, and the report will update accordingly based on the selected exchange rates.

Fixes

  • Filtering by Source = Browser extension on the app list shows results consistent with the 'Source' column.
