When connecting Canva to 1Password SaaS Manager, you will be asked for an API Access Token. This guide explains how to provide this parameter.
For multi-team Canva organizations, SCIM provisioning and deprovisioning work, but user listing and team/group assignment are not supported. Learn more about Canva SCIM.
Generating an API Access Token
- In the upper corner of the Canva homepage, click the gear icon to open Account settings.
- From the side menu, click the SSO & provisioning tab.
- Under SCIM, select Enable SCIM user provisioning.
- Your Access Token will be displayed. You can now copy this into SaaS Manager.
Offboarding users
Canva does not currently support automatically transferring ownership when a team member leaves.
Before deactivating them you can ask them to transfer ownership of their designs to someone else in the team, or as an admin you can initiate this process through the Canva user interface.
Once a member is removed, all their designs that were not transferred will remain in your Canva team but will be ownerless. They will be reassigned if the user is re-added to the team.
You must do this through the Canva UI - https://www.canva.com/help/transfer-designs/
